Aliens Abduct Millions of Babies

If you were to hear that millions of babies have vanished from earth, you might envision aliens coming down and abducting them, taking them back to their planet. Perhaps the aliens are wise enough to know that babies have great value and potential, bearing incredible gifts and talents that will contribute to a better life and solving problems back on their planet.

I know this is far fetched, but the truth is … babies have vanished.  How? Intentionally killed in the womb by their mothers. 

In the U.S. since 1973 (Roe v. Wade), over 65 million babies have been terminated.  This number is beyond staggering! 

When Hitler exterminated 6 million Jews, it was called a “holocaust’.  The statistics are a tragedy of epic proportions but it’s more than a holocaust.  Consider, if you took all the people who were killed in all U.S. wars, 1.1 million, it would not come close to the 65 million children in the U.S. who have been killed by choice.  To put this in a visual perspective, this is more than the current population of Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Texas.  Everyone – gone.

Right now, snap your fingers quickly, 1, 2, 3, …. you will not be able to keep up with the rate of innocent lives taken.   These innocent babies have no say, no choice; they aren’t accidentally lost.  Check out the clock ticking at  www.numberofabortions.com.

It’s a Baby

Quit living in denial to the facts; it’s not a blob, we all know it’s a baby.  Everybody knows when life begins, at conception.  It’s when the sperm dissolves in the egg. That new single cell has a brand-new DNA.   At eight weeks of gestation all the organs are present. The brain is functioning, the heart pumping, the liver making blood cells, the kidney cleaning the fluids, the finger has a print. Yet almost all abortions happen later than this date. Today, women can now see their baby through ultrasound (3-D and 4-D images) as well as videos of the babies’ development. 

Life of the unborn is recognized in many states.  Did you know that 38 states treat the killing of an unborn child as a form of homicide? They have what are called “fetal homicide laws.”   It is illegal to take the life of the unborn if the mother wants the baby, but it is legal to take the life of the unborn if the mother doesn’t want the baby. If the mother wants the baby, the law treats the fetus as a human with rights; if the mother doesn’t want the baby, the law treats the fetus as non-human with no rights. How insane is this?

If you have not seen an abortion, the act in itself is so outrageously cruel.  It’s so barbaric what abortion doctors do to an innocent unborn baby.   It is horrific that the baby struggles and fights to stay alive.  How long can we continue to kill our babies?

We cannot claim ignorance

We will not be able to defend ourselves by claiming ignorance.

“Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work?” Proverbs 24:11-12

Killing is wrong

Do we not know or sense that killing is wrong?

“Thou shalt not murder.” Exodus 20:13

God is forming a life in the womb

God is uniquely at work in the womb from the moment of conception.

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.”  Psalm 139:13

Shedding innocent blood is wrong

The phrase “innocent blood” occurs several times in the Bible. God warns about shedding innocent blood; this includes the blood of children.

“They poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.”  Psalm 106:38

God desires protection of the weak

God’s desire is for us to stand up for the weak.

“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked” Psalm 82:3-4

Jesus rebuked those who thought children were inconvenient

Jesus never felt children were an inconvenience.

“Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of God'” Luke 18:15-16

God is the giver and taker of life – not us

It was Job who realized where life and death came from.

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord” Job 1:21

Children are a gift

Children are not a burden or inconvenience to your goals in life. It may be a financial struggle to make it, I know this personally, but with God’s help you will survive.  God has given your children to you as a gift, and they will be your legacy.   Your children will surround you with unconditional love and provide you with grandchildren and great children. Many generations of people you will never know, will be grateful and blessed beyond what you can conceive for your decision to give life.

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.  Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!”  Psalm 127:3-5

Jesus forgives sin

Jesus offers forgiveness of sin, cleansing of the conscious and everlasting life.  If you have had an abortion in the past, know that Jesus offers forgiveness for it.  I pray that God has been softening and breaking your heart.  Ask Jesus for forgiveness, turn from your old way of thinking, and follow Jesus and God’s Word by reading the Bible.  He will erase your guilt and remember it no more, as far as the East is from the West.  He will replace even the most calloused heart of stone with a new heart full of love.

The National March for Life in Washington occurs each January; it is a demonstration of peace and love for our future children yet to come.  Pray for women around the world that they will embrace the truth of what they are doing.  I believe change is happening.
