Hello! I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Sharon and I’ve been married for 39 years, a mother of two grown children and I’m called Grandma to ten grandchildren.  I was born and raised in San Diego for 23 years, lived in Florida for 26 years and am now enjoying living in the South. 

I named this website Spiritual Mom as it can reflect someone like a mom that comes alongside you to share biblical truth.   Spiritual is the adjective form of the word spirit, which comes from the Latin word for “breath”. It is God who breathes new life into us as we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior.

For most of my life, I taught technology and training classes in the fast-paced business world. I’ve written hundreds of technology-related manuals in my lifetime. Now that I’m retired, I’m shifting my focus to writing about God.

I’ve been trained with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to serve as a counselor for their Crusades. For several years, I’ve held a Woman’s Bible study class in the workplace. Also, my husband and I held Bible study classes with the college and teen groups at the church. In addition, I’ve been a Decision Counselor for many years at our current church.

My hope is to know God better each day, through prayer and studying the scripture. With nearly seven decades of life experience coupled with God’s Word, I’d like to share some interesting experiences with you.

I’ll be sharing some personal stories of how God has given me grace, patience, protection, and mercy in my life. Perhaps these stories may help you to think deeply and grow spiritually.  And so, God has nudged me to share His truth to others which is especially needed in our post-truth world.
